Requesting an appointment
You can request an appointment with a doctor or other healthcare professional online (Monday to Friday).
We will respond to requests within 2 working hours during opening times.
You can also:
- phone us on 01384 273275
- visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use your answers to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or healthcare professional to help you.
Routine Appointments
Nurse or healthcare assistant appointments
You can request a routine appointment with a nurse or healthcare assistant up to 2 weeks in advance.
We will respond to requests within 4 working hours during opening times.
You can also:
- phone us on 01384 273275
- visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App) or Patient Access to book an appointment, screening test or vaccination
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
Get medical advice from a doctor or nurse
To ask a non-urgent medical question:
- fill out an ask a doctor a question form
- fill out an ask a nurse a question form
We will respond within 2 working days during opening times.
Your appointment
However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:
- by phone
- face to face at the surgery
- on a video call
- by text or email
Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.
Cancelling or changing an appointment
To cancel your appointment:
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- using the GP online system: Patient Access
- phone us on 01384 273275 during opening times
- reply CANCEL to your appointment reminder text message
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
If you need help with your appointment
Please tell us:
- if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
- if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email
- if you need an interpreter
- if you have any other access or communication needs
Enhanced access
Practices in Kingswinford work collaboratively providing access to all patients Monday to Friday until 8:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am– 5:00pm.
Appointments are available at different practices during the week, please discuss with reception or send a request via our website to book in.
During the week cover is provided at Wordsley Green on a Monday, Moss Grove Kingswinford on a Tuesday, Rangeways Road on a Thursday, Kingswinford Medical Practice on a Wednesday and Friday.
Cover for Saturdays is provided on a weekly rota with Rangeways open the 1st Saturday of the month, Summerhill 2nd, Wordsley Green 3rd, Moss Grove Kingswinford 4th and Kingswinford Medical practice covering the 5th Saturday.
Home visits
If you are too ill to attend the surgery, please contact the surgery on 01384 273 275 before 11:00am to request a home visit.
Your details will be taken and a GP will usually contact you at the end of their morning surgery, before visiting you.
